Downloading & Opening PDF files:

1.  You must have Acrobat Reader installed to open a PDF file. If Acrobat Reader is installed, Acrobat Reader will automatically open when you download a PDF file.

Click Here to Download the Free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

* NOTE: Acrobat Reader has its own toolbar just above the display window. If you want to save and read a PDF training lesson offline, click on first button to the left, immediately above the document display, which says "Save a Copy".
Do not try to save a PDF file by clicking on "File, Save As" in the top toolbar of your browser. You must use the Acrobat Reader "Save a Copy" button.

2.  At the "Save As" prompt, choose an existing folder or create a New Folder where you want to save the lesson. REMEMBER WHERE YOU SAVED THE FILE SO YOU CAN FIND IT! You select the folder in the top box which says "Save in:". (Use the upside down triangle to the right of the box to select a different disk or location.)

The easiest place to save your downloaded files is in "My Documents". You can save the pdf training lesson by itself, or in an existing file, or in a new folder.

3.  To create a New Folder, click on the file symbol with the star burst located in the tool bar of the "Save As" panel. Type a title for the New Folder. Once you've done that, you must click on the new folder to open it so the download file will be placed in the new folder.

4.  Once you've downloaded your pdf training file, clicking on the file itself will open it in Acrobat Reader.
